Living off the Land
In short, living off the land means:
- surviving without using any services provided by the townsfolk,
- not restarting in town after death (someone using a Scroll of Resurrect is OK),
- not trading with other players.
This means that everything has to come from the dungeon, and fortunately for us, the dungeon gives us everything we need in the form of drops (monsters and libraries) and shrines. We just have to be prepared for every gaming session to start with a Church and early Catacombs farming sweep.
This challenge series also adds some additional class-based restrictions meant to guide characters into their stereotypical fantasy class identities: a melee Warrior, a ranged Rogue, a magic Sorcerer.

-
As a Sorcerer, kill Diablo on all three difficulties, without dying, alone, with no help from the townsfolk, relying on your innate magical talent and skill with staves.
